At least one detained at Sheetz
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detained at least one individual at the Sheetz location on Freedom Road Tuesday morning in its latest operation in and around Cranberry Township over the past year.
In videos shared by WTAE, masked agents are seen putting an individual in handcuffs and loading him into the back of a white van as others around the gas station film the interaction.
The Cranberry Township Police Department said it was not involved in the Tuesday operation. Deputies from the Butler County sheriff’s department worked with ICE to make the arrest.
County Sheriff Mike Slupe confirmed to the Eagle Tuesday afternoon that his department assisted with an “ICE encounter.”
