VA Butler Healthcare System is hosting a walk and resource fair Sept. 10 for veterans at the Abie Abraham VA Health Care Center, 353 N. Duffy Road in recognition of Suicide Prevention Month.

The event, known as Walk to Remember, shows support for veterans and loved ones who struggle with connecting with friends and family. The walk begins at noon. The event also features a farmers market from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and a food truck from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The VA encourages eligible veterans not currently enrolled in VA healthcare to begin the enrollment process during the event. Eligibility information is available at www.va.gov/health-care/eligibility or by calling VA Butler Healthcare’s enrollment team at 800-362-8262.
