Adams Township announces public hearing for proposed merger with Mars
Adams Township supervisors will hold a public hearing at 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 8, to discuss the proposed merger with the borough of Mars. Voters may be asked to consider the merger during November’s general election.
The hearing aims to seek comment on the text of the ordinance and joint agreement, which will outline the procedures of the municipal merger, should voters of both municipalities approve it.
The hearing will be held at the township municipal building, 690 Valencia Road.
