Cranberry Town Square Market will return on Friday
Cranberry Town Square Market is scheduled to kick off at the Municipal Center’s Armstrong Great Lawn on Friday, May 29.
Starting Friday, the market will be available to the public from 3 to 7 p.m. each Friday through Sept. 4, with the exception of July 3 and Aug. 7.
Farm-fresh produce, homemade crafts and artisan goods can be purchased at the market. Live music, food trucks and a full bar are also expected at the market.
The Town Square Market is a collaboration between the township and the Pittsburgh North Regional Chamber.
Along with the market, attendees also can take a deeper look at local government in the council chamber through the Celebrate Cranberry event.
Touch-a-truck displays will be available in the side parking lot with the township’s various departments: public works, police, EMS and the fire company.
The event also serves as Cranberry Township’s Local Government Day.
In addition to Celebrate Cranberry on May 29, three other special-themed evenings are planned at the municipal center: Star-Spangled Summerfest on June 26, Christmas in July on July 24 and Autumn Fest on Sept. 4 to close the market.
