Three hospitalized after 4-car crash on Perry Highway

JACKSON TWP — Three people were taken to Allegheny Health Network’s Wexford Hospital after a four-vehicle accident on Perry Highway near the Jackson’s Pointe commercial area on Sunday evening, May 5.

The crash, reported shortly after 6 p.m. occurred around the intersection of Perry Highway and Lindsay Road. The crash is under investigation.

According to Doug Pickett, deputy chief of Harmony Fire District, four vehicles were involved in the accident, including a white Toyota and a black Cadillac. At least one of the vehicles wound up a full block away, near the intersection of Jackson’s Pointe Court.

It is unknown how many occupants were involved in the crash among all four vehicles. Of the three individuals who were taken to the hospital, one was a pregnant.

The crash briefly led to a complete blockage of traffic on Perry Highway, but authorities were able to open one lane of traffic while the wreckage was cleared.

In addition to the Harmony Fire District, Jackson Township Police, Zelienople Police, Evans City Volunteer Fire District, and Harmony EMS also responded to the scene.
