Mars Area School District will collect eclipse viewing glasses on Wednesday, April 10, through Friday, April 19 to be redistributed to children in Latin America in preparation for the solar eclipse taking place in October.

The October annular solar eclipse will be visible in South America, according to NASA.

Eclipse glasses may be dropped off during school hours, Monday through Friday, at elementary schools or at the district’s administration Office.
