Seneca Valley school board wins D. Richard Wynn award

Seneca Valley School District board of directors recently was awarded the D. Richard Wynn Distinguished School Board Award by the University of Pittsburgh Tri-State Area School Study Council.

The board and school district “were recognized by TIME for their innovative design of Ehrman Crest Elementary School, which has garnered national and international recognition. The Board has performed its work in a fiscally responsible manner while continuing to place students at the center of all their decisions. The Board's dedication and commitment to the students, parents and community they serve provides students in the Seneca Valley School District with an exceptional education.”

The Board was recognized on March 21, 2024, during the 75th Annual School Board and Distinguished Educator Ceremony in Pittsburgh.
