COLLEGE NOTES

BARBIE CESSAR (Slippery Rock) won the 100 and 200 breaststroke events for the Penn State Behrend women’s swim team against Alfred State. She also won the 100 breaststroke against Chatham.

MATT KARENBAUER (Knoch) was part of the winning 400 medley relay team for the Penn State Behrend men’s swim team against Chatham. The relay also won against Alfred State.

SAIGE LEY (Seneca Valley) had nine tackles at linebacker in Edinboro’s 21-17 upset football win over Indiana (Pa.).

AIDAN DOMENCIC (Seneca Valley) placed third for Penn State Behrend’s cross country team at the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Championships. His time was 30 minutes, 32.74 seconds.

MEGAN SWANTNER (Knoch) placed eighth for Penn State Behrend’s women’s cross country team at the AMCC Championships. Her time was 30 minutes, 47.08 seconds.

JONAH DeWITT (Seneca Valley) earned All-Presidents’ Athletic Conference second team by placing 14th overall at the PAC Cross Country Championships. DeWitt runs for Grove City.

CHAD PAKOZDI (Butler) finished 17th overall while running for Thiel at the PAC Cross Country Championships. His time was 29:12.58 and he had the highest finish by a Thiel male runner in the meet since 2014.

QUINTIN WEAVER (Union), a Thiel men’s cross country runner, had a personal-best time of 30:35.84 at the PAC Championships and was named to the Sportsmanship Team.

REEGAN MALIS (Butler), a member of the Penn State Behrend women’s bowling team, is 12th in the AMCC with a 15.66 frame average and sixth in baker average with a 17.66.

ANNA DeGRAAF (Seneca Valley) had six kills and two aces in Grove City’s 3-0 women’s volleyball loss to Geneva.
