Miller Minutes

Miller Minutes with Butler Eagle reporter, Molly Miller

The holidays often spark old flames of arguments between families. Some quarrels may seem unavoidable, but they often take away from the tender and loving spirit of this time of year.

In my family, there are a few issues that come up every year: Is “Die Hard” a Christmas movie? Is Dan Fogelberg’s “Same Old Lang Syne” a Christmas song?

As silly as these topics may seem, they can cause a lighthearted debate around your dinner table. If you’re struggling to start a conversation with a relative you haven’t seen in a while, bring these questions up. You may discover you have more common ground than you originally thought.
