SV student holding food drive for senior project

Non-perishable food items and hygiene items are being collected in Cranberry Township as part of a Seneca Valley student’s senior project.

Laken Painter, a student at Seneca Valley Senior High School, is organizing the food drive. Donations will be accepted through March 8.

Most-needed items include laundry detergent, diapers and pull-ups, paper products, dish soap, cereal, pasta, pasta sauce, peanut butter, rice and toiletries.

Donations may be dropped off at Thee Hemp Company, 20280 Route 19, Suite 3, Cranberry Township, PA 16066.

Monetary donations, made by cash, check or venmo payments also will be accepted. Checks should be made payable to Gleaner’s Food Bank. Venmo donations can be made to @Melissa-painter-7.
