Mars Area Primary Center will celebrate Read Across America Week through Friday, March 1.

— Monday, Feb. 26 — “Surf’s Up for Reading” Day: Students may wear a Hawaiian shirt.

— Tuesday, Feb. 27 — “Reading JOGS the Mind” Day: Students may wear exercise attire.

— Wednesday, Feb. 28 — “Read Your Shirt” Day: Students may wear a shirt with letters or words. Students will join in field trips to Mars Area Public Library throughout the school day.

— Thursday, Feb. 29 — “Reading Gives You Superpowers” Day: Students may dress as their favorite superhero. Students will join in field trips to Mars Area Public Library throughout the school day.

— Friday, March 1 — “Be a Storybook Character” Day: Students may dress up as their favorite storybook character. Members of Mars Area High School Varsity Baseball Team will read to students beginning at 3 p.m.
