Gilliland Vanasdale lawyers receive honors from Martindale-Hubbell
Jennifer Gilliland Vanasdale, co-owner of Gilliland Vanasdale Law Office, and her husband, Gary T. Vanasdale, have both earned an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
The pair have earned that rating from Martindale-Hubbell for each of the last nine years, Gilliland Vanasdale said.
“We are really proud of that distinction,” she said. “That is the highest distinction that you can earn as a lawyer. It's not bought. It's based on peer review and a substantial review process.”
To qualify for an A rating, an attorney must be regarded as “very high” in their legal ability and have practiced law for at least 10 years.
The law office will be celebrating 22 years of business Feb. 8, but before that the duo both worked at two of the nation’s largest insurance companies — Nationwide and State Farm.
“We have a foundation of experience in insurance, injury and business, but we have developed throughout the years to expand our practice areas,” Gilliland Vanasdale said.
Gilliland Vanasdale said Vanasdale handles insurance, personal injury and business cases for the firm, while she has branched out and focuses on general practice.
Gilliland Vanasdale works primarily out of the Cranberry Township office, located at 1667 Route 228, Suite 300, she said, while Vanasdale works out of the downtown Butler office at 257 S. Main St.
“Why our clients stay with us is because what's constant and reliable is the Gilliland and Vanasdale,” she said. “They are not going anywhere.”
