Dr. Jeff Aronsohn

Aronsohn

Jeff Davis Aronsohn, 73, of Zelienople, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2024.

Jeff was raised in Clarks Summit, Pa., the son of Jack and Agnes Aronsohn. Jeff graduated from Abington Heights High School, Eisenhower College in Seneca Falls, N.Y., preceding a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Temple University School of Dentistry.

Jeff was married for 52 years to Evelyn (Jealous) of Wellesley, Mass., and has two children, Jeff “J.D.” Jr. and his wife, Valerie Seifert, and Kathryn and her husband, Thomas Pace. He will also be missed by his loving granddaughters, Cylie and her husband, Aaron Johnston, and Olivia and her husband, Jack Williamson.

Dr. Aronsohn served in the U.S. Navy Reserve for 10 years, three of which were active duty as a dentist at the Marine Corps Training Depot at Parris Island, S.C. Following that, he was in private practice in Tunkhannock (Wyoming County), Pa., for over 30 wonderful years.

In addition to his love for his family, Jeff was an amateur radio enthusiast and fly fisherman. His greatest passion was for the Lord Jesus Christ and the word of God. He was most richly blessed serving the Lord, especially as an advocate for indigenous Christian pastors and mission groups. Traveling the world to encourage other believers who are serving God in very difficult places was a joy to him. Jesus never disappoints and has welcomed Jeff to his forever heavenly home. (John 14:6)
