Five Butler County-area high school football teams have qualified for the postseason. The playoff schedule follows.

WPIAL

Class 4A — Mars, fresh off a Greater Allegheny Conference title, earned the No. 4 seed. The Planets (8-2) will face No. 13 Chartiers Valley (3-7) at 7 p.m. Friday at the Mars Athletic Complex.

No. 7 North Catholic (5-5) will take on No. 10 Trinity (6-4) at 7 p.m. Friday at South Fayette High School.

Class 3A — No. 5 Knoch (8-2) will host No. 12 South Park (6-4) at 7 p.m. Friday.

District 9

Class 2A — No. 3 Karns City (5-5) will play No. 2 Brookville (8-2) at 7 p.m. Friday at Kane.

Class 1A — No. 6 Union/A-C Valley (5-5) will travel to No. 3 Brockway (7-3) on Friday for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
