Robin Lee Shipley, 68, of Cranberry Township, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, Oct. 13, 2023.

Born on Jan. 14, 1955, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late David Lee Freiss and Colleen Edna Mae Painter Freiss.

Above all, Robin valued her family and enjoyed riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles with her husband Chris.

She is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 30 years, Chris Shipley, whom she married on Nov. 6, 1993; her children, Kari (Robert) Lefler of Cranberry and Amber (Joshua) Plunkard of Zelienople; as well as her grandchildren, who affectionately called her “Mawmaw,” Colleen (Nickolas Krause), Brynn, Teghin, Jaxten, Kolson, Nolan and Kensington.

In addition to her parents, Robin was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kaydence Marie.

SHIPLEY — Friends of Robin Lee Shipley, who died Friday, Oct. 13, 2023, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township

A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Pastor Reid Moon as celebrant.

Robin will be laid to rest at United Cemeteries in Pittsburgh.
