In recognition of National Recovery Month, Butler County Community College is hosting “Stories of Hope” featuring people in recovery from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, at the Butler Art Center at 344 S. Main St. in Butler.

In addition to local speakers discussing their recovery stories, rapper and Pittsburgh native Chas Smith, also known as Colicchie, will be the guest speaker.

Music and appetizers will be provided. The event is free and open to adults and children.
