2 county natives ‘white coated’

Two local students participated in the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine White Coat Ceremony on Aug. 5 in Scranton.

The ceremony, which is common among medical schools across the U.S., marks the first step of initiation into the medical profession for the school’s Class of 2027.

County students receiving white coats were William Adams of Zelienople and Jasmine Pabla of Mars.

Students recited an oath acknowledging their responsibilities as future physicians and their obligations to future patients.
