Mars received a 37 from Matt Mueller and a 38 from Will Campbell as the Planets began the boys golf season with a 197-207 win over Blackhawk at Pheasant Ridge Golf Course on Thursday.

Keegan O’Leary added a 40 for Mars while Lukas Singh and Colin Stevenson both carded a 41.

Lakeview Invitational — Slippery Rock’s Trent Davey carded an 87 to lead the Rockets, who finished with 364 strokes at Mt. Hope Golf Course. Slippery Rock tied for 10th place out of 23 teams.

Also scoring for the Rockets were Kellan Stoughton-Drogowski (89), Tyler Rice (91) and Austan Runtas (97).

Lakeview placed first with 323 strokes.
