Time Capsule: Mothers go up to bat

More than 20 mothers were prepared to compete in an annual baseball game approaching on June 28, 1970.

The Butler Baseball Mothers Auxiliary would play a game at 2 p.m. that Sunday in Butler Memorial Park.

The participating mothers were involved with the Bantam, Midget and Pee Wee leagues, and the members represented many ages.
