Old Union Church, 200 Union Church Road, Mars, will have a soup cook-off in place of a soup supper from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, April 29, at the church.

In a contest limited to the first 12 entrants, votes will be taken for best soup between 4 and 6 p.m. The soups will be served with salad, bread, homemade dressing and hot and cold drinks. There is a suggested minimum $10 donation per person at the door.

Contact the church at 724-538-8672 by April 26 if you would like to be a soup contestant. The winning soup chef will receive a prize.
