Comtra Theatre presents ‘Fiddler on the Roof’
Cranberry Township’s Comtra Theatre will present “Fiddler on the Roof” beginning Friday, March 24 at 7:30 p.m.
This classic 1964 musical follows Tevye, a milkman in the village of Anatevka, as he strives to maintain his Jewish tradition against the changing values and increasing antisemitism of Czarist Russia.
The musical’s “universal theme of tradition cuts across barriers of race, class, nationality and religion,” the website reads, “leaving audiences crying tears of laughter, joy and sadness.”
The show will run March 24-25, 30-31 and April 1 with doors opening at 6:45 p.m. A sold-out Sunday Matinee will be held on March 26 at 2 p.m.
Tickets are available at the door or online at comtratheatre.org.
