What Butler children want for Christmas

The children of Butler County have made their wish lists in preparation for Santa’s visit on Christmas Eve. Their requests include toys and activities you can share with your family and friends, skilled toys and furry companions.

Sydney Rodgers, 10, of Butler, said she was really hoping to receive a new bike during the holiday.

“My bike is too small,” she explained. “I have to ride my parent’s bike now.”

Madi Calafut, 4, of Butler, said she wanted a Hoverboard, since she’s been borrowing her sister’s.

“I want to ride with my sister,” she said. “So I want my own!”

Jaelonee George, 6, said he was hoping for a shrink ray, and his friend David Hall, 4, said he was asking for a green squishy toy.

Gadgets are clearly the first thing on more than one child’s list this year.

Talia Pesci, 4, wants a pair of toys to share with her sister Zelda, age 2.

“I want walkie-talkies. One for Zelda and one for me. So we can talk to each other at nap time and at night time,” she said.

Zelda indicated she was asking Santa for mermaid toys, so she and her sister could play with them together.

Talia added that she and Zelda were good this year, and should be receiving their Christmas wishes.

Kierra Smith, 15, said some updated technology was on her list.

“I need a new Apple watch because mine broke,” she said.

Delaney Foster, 8, of Mercer, said she was hoping for Mini Brands toys, which come in packs and emulate food and a furry friend.

“I want a real dog, a golden doodle,” she said.
