North Catholic's girls basketball team dominated at home Tuesday night and exacted a form of revenge against visiting Mohawk, prevailing by a 70-33 score.

The Trojanettes (5-3, 3-0) led by 26 at the break and, behind Anna Waskiewicz's double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds, scored more in the first half (39) than the Warriors would all game.

Dacia Lewandowski posted 15 points, Tori Drevna 13, and Alayna Rocco 10.

Mohawk's Erin Capalbo led her team with 13.

The meeting was a rematch of last year's WPIAL Class 3A Championship, won by Mohawk.
