The Waters senior living community in Wexford held a Sweet Tooth Fundraiser on Sept. 15 to raise money for the National Alzheimer’s Association.

The event included a bake sale and pie toss, which saw residents and staff clobbering the leadership team at The Waters with whipped cream pies, which cost $2 apiece.

Baskets filled with sweet treats were raffled as well for the fundraiser.

On Sunday, Sept. 17, staff members from The Waters at Wexford participated in the annual Alzheimer's disease awareness walk at North Boundary Park in Cranberry Township.

Kaylee Martin, active life manager at The Waters, said the senior living community quickly exceeded their $1,000 fundraising goal for the National Alzheimer’s Association.
