Leave young wildlife alone

The Pennsylvania Game Commission is reminding people to leave wild animals alone if found in natural areas throughout the spring and summer.

The commission said that while some young animals might appear to be abandoned, usually they are not, and their mothers are likely watching over them from somewhere nearby.

The commission urges Pennsylvanians to resist the urge to interfere with young wildlife or remove any wild animal from its natural setting.
