Jeep fest, car cruises among summer fun

Car Cruise at ARMCO Park, June 4

Hosted by the YMCA, the car cruise will feature a 50/50, basket raffles and a DJ.

13th Annual Seven Fields Community Days Carnival, June 8-11

The festival will feature live entertainment, rides, games and food. Fireworks by Pyrotecnico round out the event on Saturday.

12th Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival, June 9-11

The Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival is a premier annual event that attracts Jeep enthusiasts from all over the world. The festival is a Jeep-only event. All drivers must be at least 18 years of age. All Jeeps must be registered and have current liability insurance that is valid during the festival dates to participate in any festival activities.

The Bantam Property Trails and the Babes of Bantam ride take place at 989 Kildoo Road, Portersville.

Mars New Year Celebration, June 9-10

The Mars New Year Celebration will include space-related programming, STEM education, exhibits and experiences for all ages in an interactive, fun, family-friendly environment.

Weavers of Harmony Fleece-to-Shawl demonstration, June 17

The Weavers of Harmony are sponsoring a Fleece-to-Shawl demonstration. Six different teams will demonstrate their spinning and weaving skills. The event is free to the public. After the event, the finished shawls will be on display and available for sale by silent auction, through June at Wunderbar Coffee and Crepes, 453 Mercer St. in Harmony.

Mega Cruise at the Pittsburgh-Butler Regional Airport, July 8

Head over to the Pittsburgh-Butler Regional Airport to view over 1,000 show cars, motorcycles, trucks, tractors and airplanes. There will also be food, beverages, music, 50/50 raffles and a basket raffle.

Admission:

Free admission, but a $2 donation is requested from pedestrians. Show vehicles enter for free.

59th Annual Horse Trading Days, July 20-22

Events Include a Hot-to-Trot 5K/1-Mile/Tot-Trot, saddlebags cornhole tournament, Horse Trading Days Dog Show and the third annual ShuBrew Hot Dog Eating Contest.

Butler Bikes, Bands & BBQ is a celebration of motorcycles and the people who ride them. The event is open to the public and all ages are welcome.

Celebrate the Bloom, July 29

Enjoy a full day of activities during a visit to Jennings Environmental Education Center when the Blazing Star is in bloom. There will be guided walks, workshops and demonstrations, plus local food, vendors and entertainment.

Saxonburg Carnival, June 27-July 1

A community event for friends and families to gather for good food, great games and fun rides. The traditional Pet Parade is back on June 27.

Admission:

There is no gate fee. Ride tickets are $20 per rider. There are about 12 rides available at Saxonburg Fireman's Carnival. Rides include traditional merry-go-rounds and swings, as well as a wide variety of rides. Discount ride coupons are available from Saxonburg VFC office prior to carnival week.
