Butler Township is hosting a “Guys who Grill” event June 16 to benefit the Butler Golden Tornado Scholastic Foundation and its weekend backpack program.

The event will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. at Butler Township Park and will feature 20 male personalities from the Butler area who will each pick a dish of their choice to grill for attendees, according to a Tuesday, May 23 news release from the township.

Categories of dishes are appetizers, entrees and desserts, and each participant is encouraged to grill a popular or distinct dish for the event.

Cost of admission includes dinner, music, games and raffles that will benefit the foundation. Attendees can vote for the People’s Choice Award winner.

Tickets go on sale May 26 and will be available at the Butler Township Municipal Building. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. For more information, visit butlertwp.org.
