The North Country Trail Association’s Butler County chapter invites anyone who loves nature and the outdoors to join a hike at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11.

The excursion will embark from the Route 308 Trailhead, beside Seybert’s Garage, and lead participants along North Country National Scenic Trail.

The 4-mile hike, geared toward families, will award participants a Valentine’s treat bag.

Organizers recommend hikers wear sturdy boots, particularly for muddy conditions, and dress for the weather, taking along water, snacks and other supplies.

The deadline for registration is Friday.
