PennDOT seeks input via survey

Motorists are asked to complete a survey on traffic safety and driving behaviors offered online by the state Department of Transportation.

The survey results help PennDOT better understand the public’s attitude on highway safety, and could allow the department to adjust efforts to reduce crashes and fatalities, Mike Carroll, acting PennDOT secretary, said in a news release.

The survey was implemented in 2010 as a requirement for federal funding, but now helps PennDOT improve safety through studying the respondents’ answers.

The survey is available at penndot.pa.gov/safety.
