Reception marks Chinese New Year
The Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., will host a Chinese New Year’s reception from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3.
There will be hors d’oeuvres, a musical trio, a handwriting expert and a scavenger hunt through the museum to identify rabbit images in honor of the Year of the Rabbit.
Roxann Booser, museum’s executive director, said Chinese New Year began Jan. 22, but the event is a 10- to 15-day holiday. The reception is open to the public and costs $50 per person. To make a reservation, call the museum at 724-282-0123
