Angels come to rescue when winter’s up to ‘snow good’

Sometimes driveways full of snow amount to more than anyone bargained for.

The Snow Angels program will help clear driveways from December until the last snowstorm of early 2023. Cranberry residents who need help can request this from the township by completing a “Request for Need” application on its website.

Volunteers will have a limited chance to apply, because there will be enough space only to meet the number of resident requests.

The Snow Angels program aims to match community volunteers with seniors and people with mobility issues, who might better manage the difficulties of winter with additional help. Snow Angels work to remove snow and keep driveways and sidewalks safer for everyone.

Residents can visit CranberryTownship.org/SnowAngels to request assistance.
