The Friends of the Bantam Jeep Association announced Thursday that they are seeking 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations to be potential recipients of proceeds from the 2023 Bantam Jeep Festival.

Applications are available on the association’s website, bantamjeepfestival.com, on the top right of the page.

The deadline to submit an application is Oct. 31.

The association has donated more than $93,500 to local nonprofits since the financial gifts program began in 2016.

In 2021, the Prospect Volunteer Fire Department used its new ATV to rescue a woman and two dogs from a high-water situation. The fire department was able to purchase the ATV in part due to a donation from the Friends of the Bantam Jeep Association.
