Mars library fundraiser scheduled July 12
Visitors to “Libations for the Library” can enjoy drinks, food and live music while supporting the Mars Area Public Library from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m July 12 at Dented Keg Brewery.
Celebrity bartenders include Mary Ours, KDKA meteorologist; Dan Mayes, head coach of the 18U Prep team; Mike Chiasson, goalie development coach for Pens Elite Organization; and Mark Recchi, Hockey Hall of Fame 2017 inductee, former player and assistant coach for the New Jersey Devils of National Hockey League.
The brewery is 700 Adams Shoppes, Mars
Raffle baskets and silent auction items will be available. Participants can purchase their raffle tickets and place their bids at library, 107 Grand Ave. Reservations are not required.
Proceeds from the event will support future library building projects.
