St. Barnabas awards Herschel Walker
Former running back and candidate for Georgia’s U.S. Senate seat, Herschel Walker was presented the Hance Award at the 122nd annual St. Barnabas Founder’s Day celebration Thursday.
The fundraiser for residents of St. Barnabas was held at the Pittsburgh Marriott North in Cranberry Township.
The Hance Award was named after Gouverneur Hance, founder of St. Barnabas in 1900. The recognition is given to a someone who holds the ideals of service, benevolence and patriotism.
Walker’s NFL career and businesses H. Walker Enterprises and Renaissance Man Food Services qualified him for the award.
