Mars cheerleaders win regional event
SLIPPERY ROCK — The Mars Area High School cheerleaders took first place in the Allegheny Regionals Sunday at Slippery Rock University.
The team received a bid to the UCA Nationals High School Cheerleading Championship at Disney World in Orlando, Fla., as well.
Mars cheerleading had not competed in nearly seven years.
