PITTSBURGH — The Salvation Army Western PA Division is teaming up with the national “Angel Tree” program this Christmas, and this new branding will replace the former regional “Treasures for Children” program, effective this year.

Through the Salvation Army-Angel Tree Program, donors become personally involved because they know each Christmas tree toy tag represents a specific child in need. The Salvation Army identifies families in need of assistance through its worship and service centers, service units and referrals from other community organizations.

For more information about how to become an Angel Tree volunteer or donor, contact: Leah Cross, Angel Tree coordinator, at or by calling 412-446-1534.
