Mars Area School District elementary students are collecting leftover Halloween candy to benefit The Lighthouse Foundation food bank in Middlesex Township.

Mars Area Centennial School is accepting candy donations through Friday, and Mars Area Elementary School and Mars Area Primary Center through Monday.

All candy must be in its original wrappers and unopened. Donations may be dropped off at the school’s main entrance during school hours.
