Mars Area High School senior Patricio Beltran collected 681 books as part of an annual drive to benefit children in need in Central and South America.

The drive collected English and Spanish language children’s books and coloring books, which will be distributed to hospitals in resource-poor communities by the medical relief and development organization Global Links.
