Mars Area High School Student Council collected $1,450 to benefit veterans living at St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.

The monies were collected as part of a “Cookies for a Cause” fundraiser, organized by 2020 graduate Jenna Sutton and held Saturdays at the Mars Farmers Market. In 2019, Sutton and her brother, sophomore John Sutton, were honored by the VFW Auxiliary for their support of local veterans and service to the community.
