Some recent graduates of Seneca Valley High School are receiving a helping hand with continuing their education from the Rotary Club of Zelienople. The 2020 recipients of the Rotary scholarships are, from left, Elena Pontius, Samuel McCune, Madison Yurich, Tyler Flood, Madelyn Karchut and Dale Rubright. Missing from the photo is Luke Wilson. Dale and Luke received $750 awards. Elena, Samuel, Madison, Tyler and Madelyn received $1,500 scholarships. The Rotary Club of Zelienople has presented 183 scholarships since 1972. Members of the club's 2020 scholarship committee are Cathy Baker, Charlie Deer, Robin Fleming, Phil Lope, Jane Meltzer, Art Prioletti, Steve Schoppe, Steve Schultz and Robin Weaver.
