SHIPPENSBURG — Mars graduate John Castello, a senior forward on the Shippensburg University men's basketball team, has been named second team Division II All-District for the Atlantic Region by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.

Castello led the PSAC in rebounds this season with 9.4 per game. He led the conference with 12 double-doubles. Over the final 20 games of the season, Castello averaged 13.5 points and 10.4 rebounds per game, shooting 76 percent from the free throw line.

Shippensburg was 24-7 this season and reached the PSAC Championship Game.
