FORWARD TWP — One man was taken to the hospital after a three-vehicle crash Wednesday on Evans City Road. Pennsylvania state police said that around 12:30 p.m. a box truck struck a blue Honda Civic and a white highway truck carrying construction cones. The injured man was taken by ambulance after suffering head injuries. State police are investigating the crash. Evans City Police were at the scene to assist. Evans City and Harmony Fire District firefighters blocked off the northbound lane for about 45 minutes. Emergency crews pushed the crashed vehicles into the parking lot of Western PA Roof Cleaning. Firefighters reopened the lane around 1:15 p.m. as tow trucks arrived on the scene.
