ADAMS TWP — The following items were taken from minutes posted by Adams Township for an April 13 emergency supervisor meeting. The meeting was not open to the public. Supervisors met to renew a declaration of emergency and approve several items:

Paying March bills totaling $175,272

Transferring $12,200 from the recreation fee fund to the park fund checking account

Transferring $250,000 from the general fund checking to the general fund money market account

Transferring $5,670 from the park fund money market to the park fund checking account

Increasing deductibles for property and police liability insurances

Township solicitor Michael Gallagher assisting in agreements for a highway occupancy permit through PennDOT for American Natural

The minutes also show supervisors discussed construction work within the township and concrete bids for the park playground, with no action being taken.

According to information previously given to the Eagle, supervisors will meet every Monday during the pandemic to renew the township’s emergency declaration, document emergency expenditures for potential reimbursement and conduct township business.
