SENTENCE COURT

The following defendants in criminal cases were sentenced Jan. 6 in Butler County Common Pleas Court by Judge Kelley T.D. Streib.

Jason Dwaine Luna, 50, of Callery was sentenced to concurrently serve six to 12 months and three to six months in prison after pleading guilty to charges of resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia filed by Adams Township police in July. In addition, he was sentenced to serve 60 months of probation concurrently with the other probation sentence for violating terms of probation he was serving after a jury found him guilty of rape of an unconscious victim and other sexual assault charges in 2003. He is required to register with state police for the rest of his life as a Tier III sexual offender under Megan’s Law due to his 2003 conviction.

Alexander Michael Kocko, 56, of Lyndora was sentenced to concurrently serve 12 months of probation and six to 12 months in prison after pleading guilty to charges of strangulation and simple assault filed by Butler Township police in September 2019. He can be paroled after serving 60 days in the county prison.

Kenneth Michael Clarke IV, 29, of McKees Rocks was sentenced to concurrently serve a prison sentence of time six to 12 months and pay $2,089 in restitution after pleading guilty to felony charges of conspiracy to access a device without consent and conspiracy to commit retail theft filed by Cranberry Township police in October 2019.

Keith Paul Reges, 34, of Slippery Rock was sentenced to six to 18 months in prison, but immediately paroled after pleading guilty to a charge of simple assault filed by Butler city police in April.

Joan M. Motonis, 54, of Butler was sentenced to serve six months of probation, including 14 days of house arrest, pay a $1,000 fine and perform 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to a charge of driving under the influence filed by state police in June.

Bryanna L. Bowser, 26, of Wampum was sentenced to serve six months of probation, including 10 days of house arrest, pay a $300 fine and perform eight hours of litter pick-up after pleading no contest to a charge of DUI filed in August by state police.

Bradley Joseph Waller, 38, of Butler was sentenced to serve consecutive terms of 12 months probation and six months probation and pay restitution of $1,814 after pleading guilty to charges of theft and criminal mischief filed by Butler Township police in June. Streib said $1,000 of the restitution has been paid.

Michelle Lynn Kriess, 40, of Butler was sentenced to serve 60 months of probation, including 90 days of house arrest, pay a $1,500 fine and perform 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to DUI of a controlled substance filed by state police in July.

Jade Marie Martin, 38, of Homestead was sentenced to serve two consecutive terms of 12 months probation after pleading guilty to charges possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia filed by Butler city police in December 2020.

Dominic M. Cecere, 41, of Pittsburgh was sentenced to consecutively serve six months and 60 days of probation on house arrest after pleading guilty to charges of flight to avoid apprehension and driving with DUI related suspended license. In addition, he was sentenced to serve six months of probation consecutively with the 60 days of probation after pleading guilty to a charge of flight to avoid apprehension. He was also fined $500. State police filed the charges in June 2020.

Joseph Anthony Wishon, 32, of Butler was sentenced to serve six months of probation, including 14 days of house arrest, pay a $1,000 fine and perform 60 hours of community service after pleading guilty to a charge of DUI of a controlled substance filed by state police in September 2019.
