Mars High School evacuated due to bomb threat, "no device found"
ADAMS TWP — A bomb threat lead to the evacuation of Mars High School Tuesday morning.
According to a letter from Superintendent Wesley Shipley, once officials were alerted to the threat, which is not described in the letter, the school contacted Adams Township police and evacuated students to the Elementary School.
Police performed a sweep of the school and, “no device was found.”
Students returned to the building at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday.
