RAIDERS ROMP MONACA IN THE MUD

Seneca Valley's Dave Cashdollar runs for 12 yards before getting splashed down to the mud by a Monaca defender Nov. 5, 1966, on way to a 33-6 route of the Indians at Monaca. The Raiders (4-3-1) racked up more than 300 rushing yards in the victory, which secured the team's first winning season in its three-year history. Seneca Valley wrapped up this season with a 35-17 win over Butler and improved to 5-4, earning a spot in the WPIAL playoffs, where the Raiders faced Pittsburgh Central Catholic on Friday night in Fox Chapel.
