Alexander John Protivnak received a juris doctor degree from the Duquesne University School of Law. He was vice president of the Federalist Society, Student Bar Association class senator and Duquesne Law Admissions Student Ambassador.

Protivnak was a 2012 graduate of St. Joseph High School and received a bachelor’s degree in political science in 2016 from the University of Pittsburgh.

He lives in Butler.

He is the son of Larry and Marlene Protivnak of Butler.
