Football camp on tap at NexTier

JACKSON TWP — The Raider Pride Football Camp, hosted by Seneca Valley High School players and coaches, takes place July 10 at NexTier Stadium.

The camp runs from 9 a.m. to noon and is for players entering grades 3-8. Cost is $25 and drinks, snack and a t-shirt will be provided to all campers.

Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Field House. Deadline to register is Friday.

SV baseball offering camp

Seneca Valley varsity baseball coach Eric Semega will lead a summer baseball camp for players ages 7-14.

The event will take place 9 a.m. until noon, June 18-21 at Seneca Valley High School.

Semega, along with other members of the Seneca Valley coaching staff, will provide the instruction.

Cost is $120 and registration must be completed by Thursday.

Checks can be made payable to SV Baseball Boosters.

Prizes, drinks and T-shirts will be distributed to all campers.

SV boys hoops holding camps

The Seneca Valley/Game-ON Boys Basketball Summer Camps have been scheduled for boys entering grades 1-7.

Week 1 is 9 to 11:30 a.m. June 25-28 at Seneca Valley High School. Week 2 is 9 to 11:30 a.m. July 9-12 at Haine School. Week 3 is 9 to 11:30 a.m. Aug. 6-9 at the Intermediate School.

White’s near no-no sinks Karns City

Elijah White took a no-hitter into the sixth inning before settling for a three-hitter as Cranberry Township defeated Karns City, 5-2, recently in Butler County Area Baseball League play.

White struck out seven. Sammy Baic had a triple, double and three RBI for Cranberry.
