SEVEN FIELDS — To celebrate its 35th anniversary, the borough is planning a beer and wine festival this summer.
It's one of three events the borough is planning to host to bring the community together. The Beer and Wine Fest is tentatively planned for 5 to 8 p.m. July 8 at Seven Fields Town Park, 380 Castle Creek Drive.
There will be live entertainment and food trucks, as well as a lineup of local microbreweries and wineries, said Tom Smith, borough manager.
Ticket prices and more information will be announced later.
Also coming back this year is the popular Food Truck Night on Wednesday evenings in August.
Going on its third year, food trucks will fill the parking lot at the Town Park from 5 to 8 p.m. to sell a variety of cuisines.
A full story will appear in Sunday's Cranberry Eagle.
