These items were collected from various police departments:

Dec. 8 — Zachary Markovitch, 32, of Ambridge, Pa., was charged with theft by unlawful taking of moveable property on Nov. 23 after police said he took $1,800 from his employer.Police said Markovitch and his employer were traveling in a work van when the employer discovered $1,800 missing from a binder where he had previously placed $2,000 on the van dashboard on the driver's side. Police said the employer accused Markovitch of theft, and called 911. Police said upon arriving at the scene and searching Markovitch, they found the missing $1,800 in his coat.

Dec. 6 — Christopher D. Gaiser, 38, was charged with simple assault and harassment on Oct. 25 after police said he threw a circuit breaker at a store employee when the employee asked to see the contents of a bag Gaiser brought into the store.Police said an argument ensued after the employee confronted Gaiser about seeing the contents of the bag, which he believed contained a store item. Police said Gaiser and the employee engaged in an argument, during which Gaiser threw a packaged circuit breaker at the employee's head, attempted to hit him and verbally threatened him before leaving the store.

Dec. 8 — Chance M. Claypoole, 22, of Clearfield Township, was charged with a first-offense DUI, stemming from a Dec. 5 traffic stop, on South Clearfield Road, near Route 422 in Clearfield Township.Police said they stopped the vehicle for speeding 50 mph in a 35 mph zone. Police said they smelled alcohol in the vehicle, and field sobriety tests showed Claypoole was impaired.Police said a later breath test showed Claypoole's blood-alcohol content at .203%, and in Pennsylvania a level of .08% is considered intoxicated.Dec. 8 — Richard Brandon, 59, was charged with a first-offence DUI, stemming from a Nov. 23 vehicle accident on Chicora Road, north of Silverton Drive in Oakland Township.Police said they were dispatched to a single-vehicle accident a little before 2 a.m. Brandon identified himself as the driver of the crashed black Chevrolet involved in the accident, and told police he had four beers earlier, according to police. Police said a blood test later showed Lorazepam and Fluoxetine in his system.Dec. 8 — Adam J. Farren, 33, of Butler Township, was charged with a first-offense controlled substance DUI, stemming from a May 21 traffic stop on Route 8, near Muddy Creek Drive in Brady Township.Police said they were dispatched regarding a vehicle driving erratically Southbound on William Flynn Highway a little after 7 p.m. Police said Farren confessed to taking Oxycodone and muscle relaxers that day and a blood test later showed Oxycodone in his system.Dec. 6 — Christopher R. Martinkovich, 33, of Franklin Township, was charged with operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked license for third or subsequent DUI offense.Police said they were dispatched to Martinkovich's home for a welfare check when he drove into the driveway. Police said the Mobile Data Terminal listed Martinkovich's license as DUI-suspended. Police said Martinkovich has been found guilty of driving under suspension 10 times.Nov. 30 — Troy Hammerbeck, 42, of Forward Township, was charged with a first-offence DUI, stemming from a Nov. 23 vehicle accident on Reibold Road in Forward Township.Police said they were dispatched to a single-vehicle accident a little after midnight. Hammerbeck identified himself as the driver of the crashed black SUV, according to police. Police said they smelled alcohol on Hammerbeck, and a breath test showed he was impaired. The breath test showed Hammerbeck's blood-alcohol content at .224%, and in Pennsylvania a level of .08% is considered intoxicated.Nov. 30 — Krista Burton, 38, of Forward Township, was charged with a first-offence DUI, stemming from an Oct. 10 vehicle accident on Shannon Road in Connoquenessing Township.Police said they were dispatched to a single-vehicle accident a little after 3 a.m. Police said they smelled alcohol in the vehicle and that Burton was still in the vehicle with an open container of alcohol in the cup holder. Police said a later blood test showed Burton's blood-alcohol content at .172% and marijuana in her system. In Pennsylvania, a level of .08% is considered intoxicated.
